Adams handmade soap has been made in a modified cold process style since we started. This type of soap we are now calling Original Adams Process (OAP). Contrary to our TCP soaps we work with hot lye and higher oil temperature to cause the chemical reation of saponification to accelerate and be completed faster. Since we don’t add any additional heat to the process the resulting soap is not a hot process soap but, does share similarities in the looks. We find that these soaps have a gentler and more moisturizing feel when compared to a more traditional cold process soap. This process also is more forgiving when working with many additives and wider range of fragrances. We pour our soaps into a slab mold and leave them with a rough textured top on them. We sell these soaps in loaves and bars along with many different cut sizes. We also offer custom options for OAP soaps
